Lots of little discoveries

Started to catch up with the jobs that have been ignored for the last few weeks, first of all the front garden. 
My idea when I planned the garden  was that plants should look after themselves, they would grow and develop as the years passed. What I did not allow for was that some plants are thugs, spreading out and overtaking there neighbours. So sorting out the front garden started with ripping out four rubble tubs full of these thugs. When I got rid of them I found quite a few plants struggling to survive, hopefully now they have space they will thrive. Also found ones that had not get through the winter, replacements needed
Didn't quite finish when where was a huge downpour, big rain drops and hale stones. There was so much rain the patio flooded. End of play for the day
