River of Flowers

By doffy

Monday: “Piws” / Purple

Awake early, raining from north west but it soon blew over.
Sat outdoors with a cup of tea late morning, wearing a fleece jacket just watching the birds and bumble bees, it wasn’t very warm.
Slightly warmer after lunch. I cut back flowering stems of Jersey walking stick kale, left a couple to set seed for the seed swap. Cut back all the wallflowers too, tied back the ornamental grass and planted the mixed flowers from last year into empty spaces: brunium, Francoa sonchifolia (Bridalwreath plant), mixed sweet William, anthemis punctata, Jacob’s ladder and an assortment of wild flowers, can’t wait for them to flower!
Aquilegia are everywhere, my Twitter friend liked the one in last Thursday’s Blip - this is for her and her sister.
Almost time for “Sewing Bee” ... ON WEDNESDAY...
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
