River of Flowers

Tuesday: In Flower Today

Dry and cloudy this morning - quick shop in Lidl, then bumped into 3 people I’ve know from school days and had long chat in the car park.
I’ve always believed I was related to one of them, his older brother always called me “cousin” but G has found no links …
Made a cup of tea when I got home and drank it as I transplanted a few dozen seedlings of mixed garden flowers for the bees and as many seedlings of mixed salad bowl lettuce. As I was tidying up the heavy rain arrived - all the seedlings were well watered :-))
Just before the rain arrived I went quickly round the garden taking photos of flowers:
Top row : red campion, cranesbill geranium pyrenicum, astrantia
2nd row : Solomon’s seal, Mexican daisies, aquilegia
3rd row : Jerusalem sage, first of this year’s roses, euryops pectinatus
Late evening now and the rain has gone - garden looking refreshed.
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
