My Bags Are Packed....

I'm Ready To Go......well, not quite ready, and not on a jet plane, but this week I will be in my car heading north to our cottage in the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay, in the land of rocks, windblown pines and shining waters - where my heart is....As it is my first time at the cottage this year, packing is a definitely a challenge! There is SO much to take! Clothing, toiletries, hobby supplies, and groceries of course, but also everything you need to set up house again for the season. My daughter and her husband have already been up there to open the cottage and have done all the hard work that entails. All I have to do is pack, but packing is not my forte. It has taken me all day today to just get a start on organizing myself to go!  It will take the next two days to actually get the car packed up, and my house, garden and cat ready to leave in the care of my good friend and next-door neighbour. So, no bird, beach or sunrise photos got taken today! It was just too chaotic a day for that. This is the best I could do for a blip.  Maybe tomorrow I will be all organized and do better, but don't bet on it...I know myself well....I will still be debating about what clothes to take!
