Day Drinking

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

There was a big easing of restrictions today for most of Scotland. We can hug people and meet indoors. Cinemas and theatres can reopen and pubs and restaurants can serve alcohol indoors until 10.30.

The Prince and I had the day off together and we were VERY (over)excited. We went for lunch in Dishoom and then spent the afternoon drinking in the Pear Tree beer garden and 56 North.

We came up with the GENIUS idea of inviting ourselves round to Kitty Cat and Marsh’s for a cheeky beer on the way home (because who wouldn’t want their tipsy mates turning up?).

And then somehow it was 1 am. We’d had a brilliant day. It felt like we were in our 20’s all over again!
