High winds and trees

Mrs P and I went for a (very cold) walk this morning and we ended up in the Prescott Pinetum above Uplyme. The wind was very strong and the trees were swaying enormously. This redwood is very tall and you can make out from the top of the image just how windy it was. Next to this magnificant tree lay another pine, not quite as large, that had recently fallen. We beat a hasty retreat!
