Fossil fest
My friend Nigel and I decided to go for a walk as it is simply too cold for cycling today. We headed along the beach towards Charmouth and came across this group of children fossil hunting. I assume they were a school party as there were a few grown-ups shouting at them! With the wind howling in from the East it really was exceptionally cold but this lot seemed quite content rummaging around the beach for ammonites and ignoring the adults. The cliffs behind form the Eastern side of Black Venn which is the largest coastal mud flow in Europe.
