Erddig

Erddig (pronounced 'Erthig) is a large country house and estate, now owned by the National Trust. The estate has a number of walks, of varying lengths, through woods and open land, and includes several historic features going back many centuries. We visited this afternoon and enjoyed a short walk and brief exploration of the gardens, somewhat neglected by the impact of the pandemic.
A quiet morning today, whilst Ms. S joined her online course on dyeing. It has been cloudy with sunny intervals today, but the forecast for the next two days is for rain and high winds, so we have decided to return home tomorrow a day early, as whilst slowly improving, my knee prevents me from walking very far and cannot do anything strenuous.
