Fading

We have come back home a day early from our week away in Shropshire. The weather forecast was accurate and the weather is very wet and windy, so it was the right decision given all the circumstances.
I have frequently admired the creative images of fading tulips of others, but never really attempted any myself. I took this tulip yesterday when we were Erddig. It was in a flower bed with others and had the appearance of fading glory. It requires more work, particularly to darken the bright flower in the background, but it a quick first attempt.
