Guernsey goes white

In a dramatic turnaround, Guernsey is now blanketed in white. The island is on a red alert for blizzard conditions and severe gale force 9 winds. The airport, schools and businesses are closed and the roads are gridlocked with people trying to get home. Trees seem to be toppling all over the island and the snow is lying thickly on the ground. The schools are due to be closed tomorrow as well.
