Blooming Gorgeous

I managed my outdoor exercise this morning in sunshine and a temperature that did not need gloves. I wouldn’t say it was exactly warm but in comparison to what it has been most mornings this month before7am, it seemed almost balmy.

This wonderful rhododendron has been asking to be blipped for several days as I have cycled past, but today I took the bait and got off my bike to do it justice.The rhododendrons are vying with the azaleas and clematis for intensity of colour and practically every garden is a riot of pinks, reds and oranges.

By mid morning though, the rain and wind arrived and it now looks a bit unwelcoming outside. It’s the early bird that gets the sun.
