Success!
I didn’t do very well with last weeks sour dough bakes after trying a different method. I went back to the one that works reasonably well ( I see better bakes on Instagram to which I aspire to match ) and am much happier with this weekend’s bread. The crust is crunchy and the inside is soft enough. I couldn’t wait for it to cool completely, so maybe it will be even better tomorrow?
I’ve been to work, then to the dentist for a routine 6 monthly clean by the dental hygienist, baked bread, had too much coffee already ( but it’s only 2.30pm so there will be more to come ) and now settled down to finally catch up on Blipland!
Just let me get another coffee ....
