Cape of Good Hope
Such a busy photograph but it’s all l have for today.
It’s a cape of hope made by the wardrobe department at Leeds Playhouse.
Was up and ready to go out for a walk when Rebecca sent me a message asking if l wanted to go into Leeds with her on the ballet run.
Didn’t need asking twice.
We dropped Kitty off, (she was nervous as it was her assessment).
We went into the Victorian Quarter and had coffee and almond croissants then into John Lewis where l bought a new sweatshirt and then a vegetable brush, l’d rather scrub new potatoes and carrots than peel them ). So nice to be doing some normal shopping and lots of measures were in place that made us feel confident about returning in the future.
Picked Kitty up, she had a little weep in the car because she had forgotten the sequence of some steps. :-(
Mum reminded her it was an assessment not an exam.
We called at Homebase on the way home and l bought paint for the kitchen as it’s being decorated on Wednesday.
Very little rain today, what a change!
