Dog minding this morning while S, mother of L looked after Liv while L got a couple of hours of undisturbed sleep and A began a 24hr shift. I feel much more confident about minding Islay, no idea how some/probably most people segue seamlessly into grandparent role. I recall reading somewhere that grandparents are a relatively recent human status so that may explain it, possibly. Not withstanding Liv is even more adorable at just under two weeks old.
