Colwyn Street Art

We nipped into Colwyn Bay this morning to get a new tyre fitted, so while we were waiting we went for a wander into town to see what’s there.

We found a community gallery where people display their art, and we bought a lovely painting for the girls’ bedroom. We also spotted a little bit of street art - there’s not very much compared to Brighton! This ballet dancer is actually on the wall of a dance studio, so obviously a commissioned piece, but I thought it was really good.

Then this afternoon we went to Door World in Rhyl to look at new front doors, and then to Chester furniture shopping. Having been to every sofa shop, we successfully found one we like and we should get that in about 6-8 weeks, then we went to Next Home at Cheshire Oaks and ordered a new bed and two accent chairs. The only problem is that the chairs won’t be delivered for about 15 weeks! Anyway it was a successful, if expensive day!
