Nothing to smile about

Because the weather this afternoon has been dire, very heavy rain and strong wind, an EB was required as I discovered that this morning's shot of the Woodpecker, although an improvement on the last one, really lacked any detail - see extra. He was settling in to attack the fat slab on the feeder and I had taken one ranging shot when he was spooked by 2 Pigeons  arriving with much flapping and banging. I have included the shot as an extra and hope it could be 3rd time lucky with this bird.
