This week's

.... Friday game of "spot the Katie". They took photos this week for their leavers year book. I'll give you a clue. She's in a PE tshirt but hers is different as she has the senior school sports kit.

I got her first school effort grades today. She's doing really well and exceeding expectation in everything apart from science. Her science teacher has since clarified she is exactly where she needs to be academically, but is missing lessons for her music timetable so he couldn't give her a higher grade. She's doing great though. She's finding the top set maths a challenge, her form tutor is her maths teacher and has told me he's supporting her in finding her feet. It's very different to maths at molescroft. It's the right set for her, but she doesn't have much confidence at the moment. She's doing brilliantly especially in music technology, English and PE. Everything else is still exceeding expectation. 

I didn't hear anything from her on Friday itself, but later heard that they enjoyed a night of birthday party fun for one of the boarding house girls. They did pamper things and a movie. Katie said she enjoyed it but was very relieved her birthday is always going to fall in the holidays as she felt it would be too stressful having to organise these things!
