Saturday: Serene Bench

We drove out to Delta this morning to go for a walk on the Burns Bog Trail.  The Burns Bog is apparently the largest domed peat bog in the world, so there you go.  It had some lovely trails - the outer edges were quite noisy as they were pretty close to traffic but that subsided as we got more into the heart of it.

It was a lovely day so I spent some of it in the garden, reading.  We didn’t watch Eurovision as the time zones didn’t work - to be honest, we haven’t watched it for some years for that reason.  But we were a bit in the loop with messages from friends who were watching........France was excellent!  I’d actually blame our nul points on a pretty lacklustre, flat performance, rather than Brexit (although I’m sure that didn’t help.....).
