Everyday I Write The Book

Canterbury

For a day, and a chance to catch up with Strider.

It rained again (despite the BBC weather forecast being impeccably dry) but we went ‘round the cathedral and had a rather lovely late lunch in The Millers Arms.

Strider was on top form and it was lovely to see him. The cathedral was fascinating and not too busy. Canterbury has a remarkable and extensive crypt which you are not, unfortunately, able to photograph. But I got a lovely shot of the compass rose altar cloth, which is beautiful (see extra).

Great day. We even had hugs!
