Jersey Orchid

This 'Loose Flowered Orchid' is native to Jersey and Guernsey, growing wild at this time of year on the west of the island (the extra shows you its habitat). They are a beautiful rich purple. The yellow flowers are a wild Iris.

Enjoyed this nature walk but the weather got rougher as the afternoon went on. I don't seem to have ticked much off my epic list today nor done the cleaning but I've spoken/face-timed with several people, including daughter B and Evolybab, which is more important!
