Maxine

I went into a local pet store today to see if there was anything interesting to photograph.
There were some beautiful, colorful fish, some white mice running around a wheel, and some interesting parakeets.
But then, there stood Maxine on a perch. She is a 22 year old macaw, who has been at this pet store since she was 6 weeks old. A worker there told me that her life expectancy is about 95 years old! Wow! That's amazing!
Beautiful bird, but I don't think she likes her picture taken. She gave me a dirty look when I snapped the picture!
