Egyptian Goose #65
A difficult day for photography as everything was quite far away, but we really enjoyed watching the hobbys hawking above the reedbed with the Harriers and listening to the bittern booming and the cuckoo calling. We even saw our first dragonflies, but they were not being very cooperative and just wouldn't land for us.
Once again we timed it perfectly and got back to the car as the rain started, so headed home for a late lunch. This evening we are off to a pub for some dinner - we found it very difficult to find somewhere close by which is slightly annoying, but I am sure we will enjoy it.
Tomorrow is our last full day in Norfolk and it looks like being a wet one, so not sure what we will do. But so far we have been very lucky with the weather and most mornings have been dry - hopefully the forecast is wrong.
