Goodies

... From Haulfryn and Tearfund! Collected yesterday from our post office. You don't get anything for weeks on end, and then two packages arrive at the same time! We haven't got into either of these yet. For the three packets of coffee and the Skittles on the right, there is a video to watch and sample the different coffees. Something for a "quiet" day. :)

G went off for the last Chess Club meeting. She got a ride there and back so I had all day at home to get on with various things. The biggest is sorting out medical insurance. It is a minefield and it is taking a lot of energy to look at the few options that are available.

I finally opened the alkaline water and have poured five litres into our regular glass dispenser. Let's see if it makes a difference. Our friend, Jessica, reckons it is more marketing than science.

We had our usual Life Group meeting on Zoom in the evening. Today's subject was Heaven - one that I had requested. It had us all glued as it was enlightening for everyone. We have so many preconceived ideas about heaven, so it was good to have a study on what is actually written.

Unfortunately, I missed some of it because the lady I took to the airport last Tuesday didn't make her flight, so she tried again today. The taxi I ordered for her didn't arrive on time, so I had to sort it out. The session was so engaging, we're going to have a Part 2 next week. :)
