Lunch view from Enzo's on the Beach
We arrived in Hervey Bay about 12.30pm and had a quick look around for accommodation but I decided I needed lunch before going any further. We spotted a little cafe right on the beach front only two steps from the sand and didn't bother to go any further. Such a gorgeous spot and it appeared to have originally been an old beach/boat shack with old timber unlined walls and the iconic aussie corrugated iron roof. They have completely opened up the front with fold back doors and paved an area for outside tables, chairs and umbrellas. So gorgeous and the food was good too - I had a prawn, advacado, salad and homemade mayonaisse pita pocket - it was very yummy. This was the gorgeous relaxing view from our table - very unusual to see something right on the beach these days. I think we will be going back here more than once this week. I have back blipped Friday the 8th which was the start of our little holiday.
