Gun battery

A trip in to Berwick this afternoon to collect our new specs, and part with an arm and a leg!  As always, it turned in to a multipurpose trip, and we also went to a building supply shop and a DIY store - a piece of skirting board for the hall, some compost, and a geranium (that somehow found its way into the shopping trolley) were purchased.
The Blip of the gun battery on the ramparts was taken from the car park in the centre of Berwick.

Home for a quick meal, before doing a bit more of the wallpapering in the hall. Eventually finished for the day after 10.00pm, both shattered. Not much more to do...
