New tulip

Never grown this variety, Groenland, before, but I love it. 

Mike and I spent ages this afternoon moving the hen house and run onto new grass. Their run is huge, six by three metres, metal framed and very heavy. Moving it is back breaking, even using the electric boat winch and rollers underneath it.  

It was worth it! The hens were very happy and set about the fresh grass, with their feet and beaks, straight away! 

I went for a leisurely wander with Lottie on the beach when we'd finished and then a wander round the garden. It's looking pretty good, which is very heartening, considering the weather we've had!
