Something small

A grandchild was 2 during lockdown and I only sent a card.  Have now bought some T shirts with his favourite motif.
Had a great day, haircut followed by charity shop stint, a toddle out to buy the present and then a pub meal to celebrate the birthday of a friend.  We were both dipping our toe into the water to see how we felt about venturing out to eat.  Felt very safe as everyone was well distanced in a large airy room.  Had my first glass of wine since Christmas Day.
Couldn't have done all this a couple ofweeks ago!
Now prepared the letter to send to DVLA by snail mail, as given up on any other method.
