Mayflower

Finally the weather befits the photographing of the explosion of Hawthorn, or May flower, that has burst out everywhere.

I bring in 2 ponies in from a field across the road from this post box ( one is the naughty one that keeps leaving her fly mask in the hedge, but for the last two days has actually kept it on ... I guess she’s understanding the flies are worse than the mask! ) and as I was posting a letter today and wanted a Blip of the hawthorn, I thought I’d get it in the bag early.

I love this time of year when it’s not raining for 18 or more hours a day!
