Bright eye.

Summer at last! Tee shirt weather.

I started potting after breakfast, while Mr C went to the garage for 4 new tyres.
Can’t complain as it is three years since we bought the last lot He was very surprised that they actually hadn’t increased in price that much.
We don’t go to one of the major tyre companies, but use our small local garage who have serviced our cars for many years.
So good to have someone you can trust.

This afternoon I washed the bedding, and then we did our farm shop.
By the time we got home the washing was dry.
Now ironed and put away.
Then baked a summer fruit cake.
Prawn cocktail salad, with minted new potatoes for tea. Followed by strawberries and ice cream, ( with a dollop of double Jersey cream on top)
Then back out to tidy up the garden, which is when this little dunnock was chirping away watching me. Probably waiting for some worms.
More compost needed to finish the pots.

Now relaxing and watching Kate Humble on her farm. I do like this programme. A bit of everything.

Think I should sleep well tonight.
