Mobile home.....

Another cattle day .
Gathered up a team of folk and quad bikes and ran the last lot of cows and calves along the road and up to one of the top hill fields. All went to plan until the last gate when one cow decided to jump a fence and head off ! Eventually got her back with her mates but will need to fix the fence .
A wee trip to Peeblesshire with Littlemiss and wee brother to buy some Angus X Saler bulling heifers this afternoon. Hopefully they will be delivered next week.
Spotted this birds nest on the side of the engine on the wee Landini tractor. There is one blackbird’s egg in it. Once had a wagtail nest under the cab of another tractor. When ever I drove it the mother hung around until I came back. She hatched out 6 wee chicks so I moved the nest into some straw bales next to where the tractor was kept . That worked for a week or so then the bloody crows found it and ate the lot !
