Mum's the word...
Another lazy morning. Actually I should stop saying that as every morning was a lovely holiday morning with long breakfast which slowly became lunch. I was the first one up and spent a good hour discussing French literature with Elsa's dad who seemed rather content to have found someone else that like Sartre. I never knew Satre was a communist.
After eating we waited for Ludovic's mum to come over for that days outing. After tea and coffee we went out to visit a chateau at Lourmarin. It was about an hour away and I did start to feel a little car sick. It was worth it though as the castle was pretty and the weather was really nice. We met Elsa's mum there too. We wandered in the little streets which had lots of touristy, pretty and extravagently expensive shops! After a goute of chocolate cakes made by Ludo's mum, we decided to have goute take II in a cafe in a nearby village called Ans ouis. For a while I was very confused as I kept thinking everyone was saying En Suisse! Unfortunately the cafe was closed but we did a tour of the village and visited the catherdral which, although pretty on the outside, was very over the top! Great views over the countryside though. I liked this photo of the two mum's talking outside the cathedral when they didn't know we were creeping up on them. Made me miss my mum!
We arrived home around 7.30 for a late dinner and watched Casino Royale whilst eating rice pudding. It's safe to say that Daniel Craig just isn't the same with a French accent but, I enjoyed it all the same.
