Rosie

It seems to have been a day of two halves, but it was the second half that mattered when my youngest daughter, her partner and my two grandsons finally made it up to Edinburgh from deepest darkest Yorkshire. It was the first time we’ve been together in 18 months, so it was quite an occasion. Glasgow daughter joined us for lunch and a meal later although my son in law and Glasgow grandchildren didn’t come as officially they are in lockdown.

It was a noisy gathering but lovely to have the Dower House come to life after so many months of solitude.
