Thought...

the hills looked splendid, as I travelled to walk on another lovely sunny day. The bird life was spectacular, including the pair of paddling Partridges and the Wheatear in the extras . There was the inevitable Cuckoo calling and laying, much to the consternation of the Pipits. Skylarks, Curlew and Lapwings all added their voices.
