Flowery window box.

Posted this for today by mistake so deleted it and started again as a back blip! Didn’t blip yesterday as had a busy day! Went to the Box, the new museum in Plymouth, a fascinating insight into the influences of geology, biology and society on the development of the city. Also highlighting the adventurers who left from Plymouth on their voyages of discovery! After nearly three hours I went to the first half of a concert by the 2nd and 3rd year music students.

This was interrupted by the need to go to a zoom meeting about singing with our local MP who will ask the question in parliament as to why singing is not allowed when people can go to the pub and shout at each other to their hearts content. Hopefully they will reverse the decision to only allow six peopleto sing in a grou inside! We pleaded the mental health benefits!

After that I walked home via the fish and chip shop. Battered haddock and chips. Hummer! Had to throw away half the chips as there were too many.

Then back to town to go to a performance by ballet Rambert who did a piece full of angst and anger! Reflected the entrapment of the last couple of years as full of energy but not very positive. Having a socially distanced audience pays off as there was nobody in front of you so no dodging heads to be able to see!

Walked back after the performance and kept walking to the front tower the sea. It was a beautiful evening and as I enjoyed the peace I noticed a couple of bats flitting this way and that across the beach. A good way to end the day!
