Kent countryside...

We started at Goudhurst for brunch on the terrace of a favourite hotel. So quiet and warm and lots of sunshine.

After a lovely walk through buttercup fields, with fantastic views across to the horizon, we returned to the car and headed for Curtisden Green to find Bethany School, where our sons together with a great crowd of other youngsters and a dedicated team from their Crusader Bible class, spent two weeks of wonderful fun each summer for several years. And it looked just the same, except for the outdoor swimming pool, in my extra. Many memories and the boys have been pleased too to see photos.

A lovely drive home on a surprisingly quiet A21, passing Pembury, a road which was always guaranteed to have long hold-ups before its development.

A really lovely day!
