One boy and his dog

Revisited a track alongside the river Roding this morning. Right next to the North Circular Road but screened by trees. Hardly anyone there. This lad was having fun splash splashing about. 

And in the other direction was a heron with a chick (extra). At least I think it's a chick and not an egret. Others will confirm. All within a few yards of roaring traffic.
