Haar or mist?

I took the dog out for his late walk. The air was very still and a haze hung in the air. My immediate thought was that the haar had come in but there was no edge of coldness I usually associate with haar.

Instead it was mild. Whatever it was it lingered and in the morning there was a bit of a chill. Unlike further down the coast it had burned away by 11 and we had a lovely day.

The clouds threatened to build up but the sunshine won through and we had our first BBQ for a while - see extra.
