Wild rose

I had a lovely early walk this morning. The wild roses have started blooming. This one is by the shore. The extra is one with a caterpillar - I seem to have caterpillars on my mind, but this one isn't a tent caterpillar! They all seem to be hanging out at our place.  :-)
Watered the garden, did two patrols killing those pesky caterpillars (so many!), weeded the veggie beds, and made soup for supper. Doesn't take much to fill a day! 
Edit: showed the extra to G and he says it is a tent caterpillar - and I just noticed another one in the photo too!
