After the fire

We drove today to Mt Kaputar National Park, a one-hour drive each way from our B&B on the Namoi River near Narrabri. Bush fire had been through the area recently, but this yellow daisy showed signs of recovering life,  contrasted with burned and blackened eucalypt trunk.
