Sidmouth

We visited Sidmouth today and fortunately knew where to park as the main carpark was completely full which wasn't surprising given its a sunny Bank Holiday.  We headed to the Byes and the Ham playground where Lucas enjoyed watching all the other children enjoying themselves and had fun running around various bits with an occasional play on the swings.  We took a quick look at the sea where the tide was still fairly high and many people were enjoying themselves on the beach and in the sea.  We then returned to the Byes for a quiet lunch while our grandson slept.  It was by now pretty hot in the sun but we found shade under the trees.

After Lucas had his late lunch we walked along the by now very busy seafront before returning home.  Another glorious sunny day.
