Car [W]reck

A check on the traffic conditions across Kent today soon persuaded me that a trip to the coast probably was not a good idea on this Bank Holiday Monday and the hottest day of the year so far. Instead I took a run out to the RSPB Cliffe Pools site on the Thames estuary.

One unexpected spot was of a dragonfly, a blue-eyed hawker apparently (extra), but I was bemused by the sight of the wreck of a car upside down in a creek. It nicely fitted the Mono Monday theme with its silent "W", and also provides a Derelict Sunday entry.
