Big sky country
We headed north today. A warning light came on after about a kilometre so we pulled up and I found out where the fuses are. We needed to locate fuse number 23 ( there are about 60 in the car). Bob pulled it out and as it looked OK replaced it and we didn’t have anymore problems.
We stopped for morning tea then I drove for awhile until I noticed another warning light. This time it was a button Bob had pushed by accident so we fixed that and continued. Passed Gilgandra, Gulargambone, Coonamble, Walgett and are now in Lightning Ridge. I’ll add some of the towns as I think some of the names are unique to Australia.
Now settled into a large, clean and tidy caravan park catering for the many tourists in the small town. Population unknown. It is know for Opal mining and its quirkiness. Will go exploring tomorrow. We have a large site, could cater for about 6 caravans. The surface is gravel which is very sensible for an outback town with limited water supply.
