Morning walk.

Another beautiful day.
Before the sun got too strong we went for a walk over the fields to the next village, dropping by the pond on the way.

Very quiet everywhere. Just met one family.
The countryside is looking so beautiful with the hawthorn covered in blossom.
Apart from a pair of mallards and the moorhen family the pond was empty. No idea where the other ducks have gone, so no young ducklings this year.

Managed to get three lots of washing dry very quickly.
Sat in the garden for a while. Nice to have a shady area when it is so hot.
Now preparing another BBQ. Might as well make the most of the good weather while it lasts.
Just going to open a bottle of chilled rosé. Perfect for this sort of weather.
