Evening shadows.
Usually we don’t get any sun in the kitchen as it faces almost direct North, but noticed tonight the shadows on the blind as it just catches the evening sun at this time of year.
So a mono Impromptu shot, for Mono Monday.
A special day for us as we went out in the car for the first time in 10 weeks.
Felt rather strange at first.
Decided to visit a local plant nursery.
We arrived just as it was opening and so I was 4th in the queue.
I did manage to buy a few plants, but most on my list weren’t available, as they had sold out.
As well as growing their own plants they have deliveries from 4 other nurseries. At the moment the deliveries are down by a quarter.
So I have ordered some more from the other nursery who delivered to me a few weeks ago.
They too have a very limited choice.
Have spent the afternoon emptying out the pots of bulbs and most are now filled with the new plants.
Mr C went to the garage to book the car in for a service. Should have been done the second week of lockdown, but obviously was cancelled.
On the way home he was passing near our son’s house, and so called in to see our granddaughter Jennie. ( another 1st for 10 weeks)
Kept his distance!
Did have a try in her new hammock, but hasn’t quite got the hang of it.
J took a photo which made me laugh.
It will be my turn next time. MrC can’t wait for me to make a fool of myself!
It was nice to see the little children walking to school this morning.
They looked excited, but some mum’s looked a bit worried. I’m sure they will be fine.
The teachers seemed to have playtime well organised, when we passed the school later on, when out for our walk.
Another warm sunny day, but some clouds in the sky. We haven’t seen any for a few days.
Don’t understand how people could be so selfish this weekend.
Can’t believe all the rubbish that has been left behind in some beauty spots.
After all the 10 weeks of lockdown when people have been so helpful, kind and caring, it all seems to have gone out the window.
