Another past concert programme & ticket memento from my photo book.

Eighteen years ago today – Paul McCartney finishes his 2002-2003 world tour in Liverpool. Quite special seeing him play live in his hometown. It was the first time I’d seen him live since 1990.

As well as the ticket and the programme cover, you can see here a separate sheet that was placed on each chair, to be held up at the end of the concert, and made for a great scene.

This was an open-air concert in a specially built arena on wasteland by the docks; the area was subsequently developed, and I believe the Echo Arena is now on the same site.
