Goodbye Crutches and Thank you

Today Jack walked into his surgeon's room without crutches or a stick. The surgeon was very pleased and after checking Jacks knee and removing all the bandages, he said that Jack was far higher on the recovery curve than he would have expected.

So physio tomorrow. We feel that we've moved a good way along the road to a normal life.

I've just spent a lovely evening at book club. This is the first time we've met in a garden since last summer. Seven delightful, funny women. About 30 mins talking about last month's book. The rest of the time was full of laughter and friendship with a little hint of naughtiness!.
