A Crazy Day

After breakfast I went out to the car and let some air out of the tyres and then re-inflated them to a couple of pounds less and then reset the warning again.
That seems to have worked.

We arrived at No1 son's after breakfast and the girls (to be collectively known as the 'wee horrors' to differentiate from 'the monsters' at home) were going nuts in the garden.

They settled down - slightly - when we went to the local RSPB nature reserve (Hillyblips - No1 son says thanks for the info about the fat bottomed chasers).
Butterfly pointed out that they must have known I was coming. She also pointed out beetles and flowers and was able to identify them and tell me all about them. When a damselfly was found on her hat she showed me how to get it onto your fingers without hurting or disturbing it and again identified the species and the sex. She also knew it had recently hatched and between her and her father worked out it was probably warming up for its first flight - which it did after a couple of minutes.
She is a very smart cookie for 6 years old.

We were warned that Bunny would bring the house down when she was having her hair washed - which came as no surprise considering her general dislike of people. As it happened she didn't make a sound and was very cheery afterwards.

A selection of pictures from the day Starts Here and ends with Bunny in her towel.
