Back seat.

On the way to his third and last football match of the season with the first team and at last, we were actually allowed to watch. 
He played for 25 minutes.
On the way home we stopped for lunch. L, alias Chinchulan and I  had fettuccine with pork sausage, porcini mushrooms and truffles. F had something else. It was so comforting be doing something normal again.
Next for L come training and a series of matches with his own age group which is going to be strange after being with the grownups, but he will take it in his stride as he always does.

When you see him on the field he seems almost adult, then when you see him close up, he is clearly a 16yr old kid.
I had a really great day.
