Japanese Raccoon Dog

We met Kate, Joel & Sophie at Animal Farm near Brean this morning where they have done away with the rather tired old fairground rides and replaced them with more rescued animals. It was very popular with half term holiday makers, despite the threat of heavy rain, which materialised at lunchtime.

The main blip is one of three Japanese Raccoon Dogs, housed in a large natural enclosure. In extras is one of the two Black Foxes in a similar one next door to them. All of them are rescued ‘pets’ apparently.

Also in extras is Sophie feeding an alpaca. Not sure which of them is looking more surprised! We had a great time despite the weather
