Armeria maritima ‘Alba and Aquilegia Alpina

I grow these two in a trough and empty any sand-filled shoes into them and they are thriving (the red pulsatilla featured in the past is also with them).
As usual after a busy Foodbank week we have a quiet one but there were quite a few things to be sorted so the time was well used. Weds are the day when the church is the community "hub" and so a good time to connect with the various workers.
I took a bit of time out to do some ore sewing before getting back into the garden to deadhead dandelions and Welsh poppies and water the vegetables.
Also a short run, shopping and some more holiday sorting - now to pack the clothes and rest of the food. 
There are a few jobs to do in the morning before we go. 
I'll catch up with folk when we're back, won't be able to post whilst away.
